Light & Building fair

The B.lux Group’s stand at the last edition of the Light & Building trade fair was very well received by visitors. Designed by the manufacturer’s regular collaborator David Abad, the 150m2 stand stood out for the imposing appearance of its front and rear facades, inspired by Le Corbusier’s architecture.

The interior’s strategic design made it possible to enjoy a central workspace, from which one could view all the decorative and architectural lighting collections which B.lux presented in Frankfurt. An elongated table located in the centre of this social area served as a meeting point for international visitors and even for interaction with the products on display. Within the stand the lamps were displayed at two different heights and grouped by family, such that each new B.lux collection was spotlighted.

The combination of the materials used in their construction was another of the key features of the David Abad stand design. Thus, the floors combined continuous cement projecting a cold look with other warmer ones with a natural pine finish. The configuration of the latter also made it possible to channel the visitors’ direction and movement through the stand’s interior.
