During this edition of Cersaie, the European associations of tile distributors and installers and Confindustria Ceramica are organising a conference on 25 September entitled “How to increase the market share of ceramic tiles in Europe”, to be held at 2 p.m. in Sala Concerto in the BolognaFiere Services Centre, Block D. This carries on a tradition that began two years ago and brings together all parties involved in the ceramic tile industry, including producers, distributors, retailers and installers.
The event will discuss initiatives promoting the use of ceramic tile in different countries and will present as yet unpublished data on the consumption of different flooring materials in Europe. These figures highlight the leading role of ceramic tile but at the same time give an idea of the efforts that must be made to increase its market share compared to other materials.
Participants in the roundtable discussion will include: Vittorio Borelli, chairman of Confindustria Ceramica; Jacques Vinet, chairman of EUF (European tile fixers’ association); Michael Zink, VDF (German tile distributors’ association); Silvio Boschian, chairman of the Swiss tile association; Gerhard Reiter, chairman of the Austrian tile association; Klaus Kuehn, CEO of Eurobaustoff, one of the leading building materials distributors in Europe; Gerald Reus, representing Dutch tile importers and installers.
Large format ceramic tiles will be the stars of the new products that Cifre Cerámica will be showing during Cersaie 2013.

BATIMAT 2013 is an international Lounge of the construccción that provides a great impulse in the launch of new products for the market as well as a real springboard for the manufacturers who throw innovations.
BATIMAT 2013 has been at the heart of challenges facing construction and in particular those relating to energy performance and low consumption.
Two additional themes have featured also in 2013: building accessibility and comfort, and the strong technological dimension to construction.
Laminated zinc company VMZINC has been also present in 2013's Batimat Exhibition. They showed us this year some innovating products, never forgetting their projects with Composte and Mozaik, which are already very reputated in this area. In their stan we could see both the solid, secure panels, and the creativity and esthetics that are always important.

In this year's International Batimat Exhibition we met with Porcelanosa, national and world-wide company in terms of paving, revestment and constructive systems. The company exposed their products and also their latest projects just like Thermoformale, showing that they keep the quality and esthetics level in every new exhibit.
In this Batimat's edition we had Trespa International B.V. with us, a company dedicated to the fabrication of plates and interior surfaces, with the very important detail of using wood in order to achieve a more natural ending.
