New decorative designs

Venatto are broadening their range of decorated paving with the launch of the new collection Ópalo: unique pieces which care for ever last detail with the quality guarantee of last generation ceramic technology, and the most advanced Spanish technology.

The exclusive production process through extrusion allows for the perfect integration of the cast stones, which obtains a surface of exquisite purity for the most demanding markets. This natural paving can act as a perfect substitute for marble or quarried stones, and it will remain impeccable with the passing of time, even in frequently used spaces.

Carmen Luna, marketing director of Greco Gres International, explains that “The collection of Venatto decorative designs is our venture for the high end international market, where we are highly regarded. The collection is the haute couture of ceramics, with designs inspired by the paving of legendary palaces and exotic cultures which results in the beauty of our product”. 

Venatto´s decorative designs are a practical solution and are easy to install; they offer multiple combinations to obtain unique paving which is easy to clean and maintain.

Among the latest designs Ópalo stands out, which includes various ceramic tiles of 40x40cm with a polished finish. It is an exquisite design that permits the combination of different tiles to adapt to different decorative projects. 

The polished finish is the perfect choice for hotels, businesses, restaurants, offices, and, principally, in projects that require a natural high quality and easy to clean floor surface, that does not need upkeep. They are especially appropriate in the home to decorate sitting rooms, corridors, hallways, kitchens and bathrooms.

With this launch Venatto has once again emanated their commitment to innovation and the development of new products with the most sophisticated techniques of the current ceramic industry. 

Venturato and Fantoni
After a period of intense preparation, the merger between Inda and Samo has been finalized in these days, aimed to create an European leader of bathroom furniture.

 
Inda e Samo become an integrated group in the bathroom furnishing sector, with a tournover nearly €100 million and it’s able to offer a variety of products, from shower enclosures (Samo is an Italian leader), accessories (Inda is one of the leading European manufacturer) to bathroom furniture. Samo will add to it’s strong presence in the Italian market, the retail structure of Inda in Europe, markets such as France, Switzerland, Belgium and Germany. Both brands will maintain their strong identity and their commercial networks. The operation involves the concentration of a large part of the production of shower enclosures at Bonavigo (VR) (Samo’s Warehouse) and other productions sites.
 
Denis Venturato, Samo’s Chairman and CEO, will assume the operational management of the new group.
 

Despite a difficult market conditions, commented Ms. Donata Fantoni, Shareholder’s representative of Inda – the merger with Samo means a new start for Inda. Inda expect to be able to represent a very important lever for Samo in a moment that foreign markets are the natural potential for the Made in Italy with high quality.

 
The industrial efficiency – added Denis Venturato, Chairman and CEO of Samo- is the customer service, understood as innovative service that has characterized the history of Samo and will represent the motor for the relaunch of the brand Inda. The new group that ranks among the first in Europe want to become a primary interlocutor in the world of the bathroom furnishings.

 
The operation has been made through the creation of a Holding, Samo industries, which owns 100% of the both companies and will be controlled by Venturato family. In order to ensure the realization of the transaction, Inda, during the month of January, has lodge the pre agreed request at the Court of Busto Arsizio. The strong support received from the shareholders and the determination of the group have allowed to make the operation -in bonis- without any sacrifice for the providers and the financial institutions.

 

 
Inda is the head of a group of companies engaged in the production and merchandise of accessories, shower enclosures and bathroom furniture. The group was founded by Aras Frattini in 1944 and since then is present with its products in Italy and Europe in the Hydro thermal Health channel, in the hotel supplies and naval. The brand is characterized from a product placement in the medium high segment of the market and with a high design and innovation. In 2012, the group achieved a turnover nearly  € 55 million.

 
Samo is the head of a group of companies engaged in the production and merchandise of shower enclosures and shower trays with two brands Samo and Siro. The group was founded by Cav. Orville Venturato in 1960 and since then is present with its products in Italy and Europe. The brand covers all markets segments through specific policies of product placement. In 2012 the group Same achieved a consolidated turnover of € 41 million.
 

How to increase the market

During this edition of Cersaie, the European associations of tile distributors and installers and Confindustria Ceramica are organising a conference on 25 September entitled “How to increase the market share of ceramic tiles in Europe”, to be held at 2 p.m. in Sala Concerto in the BolognaFiere Services Centre, Block D. This carries on a tradition that began two years ago and brings together all parties involved in the ceramic tile industry, including producers, distributors, retailers and installers.

 

The event will discuss initiatives promoting the use of ceramic tile in different countries and will present as yet unpublished data on the consumption of different flooring materials in Europe. These figures highlight the leading role of ceramic tile but at the same time give an idea of the efforts that must be made to increase its market share compared to other materials.

 

Participants in the roundtable discussion will include: Vittorio Borelli, chairman of Confindustria Ceramica; Jacques Vinet, chairman of EUF (European tile fixers’ association); Michael Zink, VDF (German tile distributors’ association); Silvio Boschian, chairman of the Swiss tile association; Gerhard Reiter, chairman of the Austrian tile association; Klaus Kuehn, CEO of Eurobaustoff, one of the leading building materials distributors in Europe; Gerald Reus, representing Dutch tile importers and installers.

Roberto Verino& Fustecma

Fustecma, for his part, has been able in a short periody time to convey such requirements in gorgeous finishes both in product and in own assemblies of each of the corners that have been installed to date. The commitment is firm and with a major Project in the médium and long term, which has begun with the addition of Mr. José Ig. Iturralde, from one of the leading firms in the sector, as commercial Director to devote himself entirely to this new project.

Cersaie 2013

Large format ceramic tiles will be the stars of the new products that Cifre Cerámica will be showing during Cersaie 2013.

The company will be showing in the Italian exhibition new large pieces in de 45×90, 90×90, 120 x 60 o 120×20 cm formats. With these new sizes, the company strengthens its commitment to large projects.

Textures and natural motifs take center stage in these new series, with marble, stone and wood in different shades.

With its participation in Cersaie 2013, Cifre Cerámica aims to consolidate its growth in exterior markets, with several collections created for the Russian and Arab markets. Rich decors, floral patterns and golden elements help to increase the product range of the company from Onda.

Moidecar in Cersaie 2013

One more year, the company Moidecar will be presenting its new proposals at Cersaie, the exhibition is a reference for the sector in Europe, which meets annually to architects, interior designers, retailers and manufacturers worldwide.

For the occasion of this international event, the week of 23 to 27 September in Bologna, Moidecar present new versions of its collection of exhibitors: Spirit and Spirit Evolution. New butech products for Cersaie 2013
The Cersaie fair is the main meeting point between European ceramics manufacturers and clients. It is an essential event to be in touch with the market trends and to introduce new products of the next season. It represents a challenge that our company, Butech, is facing once again.

 
In ceramic decoration, Butech extends the Elegance collection featuring Swarovski elements, with a new model: pro-part profile Gold SW 1500, which combines the distinction of 24k gold, with the extraordinary shine of crystals. butech is also introducing the spectacular Crystal collection, a step forward in the collaboration between Swarovski and Porcelanosa Group.

 
Butech also presents Epotech Crystal, a new grouting material with endless decorative possibilities. It can be used with no additive, offering a nice translucent look, especially recommended for glass mosaics, or mixed with epotech shine, that gives joints a fantastic metallic gloss. In addition there are new decorative drain grates, which round off butech solutions for ceramic showers.

 
On the other hand, Butech continues innovating on construction solutions in order to ensure the right installation of Porcelanosa Group materials. Lamitech n has just been improved for substrate preparation, superprim is a new primer for non-absorbent substrates and the butech leveling spacers are now adapted for extra slim porcelain tiles, like Xlight from Urbatek.

 
Butech keeps developing new façade cladding systems for Porcelanosa Group materials. Among the new systems, we highlight a new type of Krion ventilated façade and the new technical solutions developed for Xlight tiles cladding on exterior walls.

Renovation Today has been in the International Innovation Event for Construction BATIMAT-INTERCLIMA-IDEO BAIN 2013, celebrated from November 4 to November 8 in Paris, where we have conversed with multitude of visitors and exhibitors of international companies, with the aim to show them the most interesting innovations of this edition.

BATIMAT 2013 is an international Lounge of the construccción that provides a great impulse in the launch of new products for the market as well as a real springboard for the manufacturers who throw innovations.

BATIMAT 2013 has been at the heart of challenges facing construction and in particular those relating to energy performance and low consumption.

Two additional themes have featured also in 2013: building accessibility and comfort, and the strong technological dimension to construction.

BATIMAT 2013

Laminated zinc company VMZINC has been also present in 2013's Batimat Exhibition. They showed us this year some innovating products, never forgetting their projects with Composte and Mozaik, which are already very reputated in this area. In their stan we could see both the solid, secure panels, and the creativity and esthetics that are always important.

In this Batimat's edition we had Trespa International B.V. with us, a company dedicated to the fabrication of plates and interior surfaces, with the very important detail of using wood in order to achieve a more natural ending. BATIMAT 2013

During the Batimat's Exhibition this year, celebreated in Paris, we had the chance to speak with Natalia Agromayor, Cosentino's Product Manager, about the new product that they were presenting in the exhibit. Cosentino Group, a company that developes its activity from natural stone, presents Dekton, a high-techonology material that opens new paths in the business because of the potential to be used in exterior, fronts and ground. This is all possible thanks to their wonderful characteristics, for example, the few absortion of water, the stability of color, the resistance against scratches, etc.

BATIMAT-INTERCLIMA 2013

We speak with the Belgian comnpany Renson, with more than 100 years of experience in the sector of the construction. In the fair BATIMAT 2013 have come with a total of three stands, for the area of ventilation, sun protection and the ironmongery. In the sun protection to mention the new sliding panels, being a typology of valid panel for all kinds of facades.

BATIMAT-INTERCLIMA 2013

We get close to the SFA's stand so to meet with the products that have represented the International Salon INTERCLIMA-ELEC Home & Building 2013, celebrated in Paris from November 4th to the 8th. Their huge spectrum of breakers, which are ntoable because of their easy instalation systems, were some of the most interesting points of the exhibit.
